On October 3, 2009, LU's STD chapter will be attending a regional Sigma Tau conference at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV.
This literary festival and conference will feature workshops on creative writing, academia, peer editing, and professional development as well as academic presentations by STD members from various local chapters. Please plan to attend this conference with us! We'd love to have as many members as possible make the trip. If you're interested in joining us, here are the steps you should take:
- By September 1, print off the registration form (found at the above website), complete it, and submit it to Mallory Butincu, secretary of English & Modern Languages, along with your $30 conference registration fee made payable by check or money order to Shepherd University.
- Email me (mdavis@liberty.edu) to let me know that you plan to attend so we can work out transportation (and lodging, if necessary) details.
